To the Washington Park Association for organizing to preserve the distinct landscape architecture of Washington Park, a century-old Hudson County park located at the Jersey City/Union City border and designed by renowned landscape architect Charles Lowrie.

The WPA strives to create opportunities for change which includes elected officials and our wonderfully diverse community... The more we learn of Washington Park's colorful history we want to protect it even more. Every community surrounding a park should be a thriving and culturally rich community and we will continue to strive for a stronger sense of place via our precious open space.
