As part of our Preservation Month 2011 in Jersey City program of events, historian and published author Cynthia Harris will lead a free workshop in The New Jersey Room, a special archives treasure trove located in the main branch of the Jersey City Free Public Library.
Mrs. Harris, the room's head librarian, archivist and manager, will teach local homeowners, scholars and historians the basics of historic property research.
This is a FREE event; however, registration is required as space is limited. Co-sponsored by the Jersey City Free Public Library and JC Landmarks.
